Domaine le Colombiès — Attraction in Carcassonne

We came off the Canal du midi cycle track to visit Domaine le Colombies. We had messaged earlier to arrange a tasting of the local wine selection. The next hour was a pure delight, Marie, 4th generation wine vintners, eloquently explained the workings of the vineyard and the acreage and variety of vines and other items. Her knowledge and passion for wine was evident and the care shown for the environment she works in. There were items produced from the farm such as garlic, shallots, pickles and preserves and bee 🐝 related products. But the most important items were the range of wines from the crisp white, refreshing rose and delicious deep reds.🍷. J adore venir dans ton domaine le vin que tu fabrique est très bon et respecte l environnement ton savoir faire est génial et ce qui de gâche rien ton accueil et ta gentillesse. Dieses Weingut ist eine kleine Perle, wo man mit viel Liebe Wein anbaut und mit Freude die Gäste empfängt. Vater und Tochter sind ein gutes Gespann für verschiedene Sprachen beim Tasting. Er französisch, sie englisch. Wir haben köstlichen Wein probiert und gerne etwas gekauft. Es gibt auch ein kleines Sortiment an Marmelade, Honig und nette Kleinigkeiten. Das Tasting war kostenlos. Mit unserem Camper konnten wir ein paar Nächte bleiben und haben uns Carcassonne angeschaut. Eine Fahrradtour dorthin entlang des Canal du Midi ist eine schöne kurze Strecke, die uns gefallen hat.
