We visited the museum July 5th 2024.
The hostess was very kind and is very knowledgeable about Lavender types and the history of the site. Everybody takes pictures of the lavender fields and buys products containing this plant, without knowing anything about it, so it is nice to know what there is behind this plant. The ticket price was €10 for 2 adults which is very economical.
Inside the small museum you will find the original boiler and machinery which was used by this distillery, and a detailed historical explanation about the history of lavender trade throughout the 20th century as well as the specific history of this distillery.
The entrance to the museum is slightly hidden, at first the building looks closed, but on the left you will see a ‘acces musee’ sign and a gate to open.
There is also a garden where different type of Lavander are grown and inside the museum you can purchase quality lavender products, books about lavender and the distillery, you can find pottery.
