Our group of ten friends and fellow food and wine lovers just returned from our week at the Domaine de Cromey. We were all incredibly impressed with the house, the food and wine, and the daily tours. We are all spoiled frequent travelers with high standards - and not easily impressed. The place has been beautifully renovated - while maintaining its 18th century charm. The rooms and bathrooms are large and could not be more comfortable. The chef is excellent - and made adjustments to the meals based on individual preferences expressed prior to our visit. The two guides were incredibly well informed about the wine of the area and all of the historic sights, and quick to adjust the tours based on our interests. Two other gracious staff member served the meals and took care of our every need - always looking for ways to make us more comfortable. We loved meeting the owners, and hearing their stories.
