A cute little museum, that is open every day and free admission. Its only small but the relics on display give a good insight into the way of life, homes and industry in the area for ancestors of the town. It is in a beautiful old building that has undergone renovation down by the river. I loved the house content displays and all the old fireplaces that were made around here. I have nere seen a radiator before that is made to hold plates a a warming cupboard for them prior to dishing up. The information boards were in french only. It covers 3 floors so has 2 staircases to climb up. A little shop at the entrance sold souvenirs, cold drinks and had information leaflets of things to do in the area. Well worth a visit if you like history.

This museum has a DIY feel to it since it however it was not a problem, on the contrary I would say it contributes to its charm. In more or less 45mn you can get to know more about the traditional lifestyle of people from here in the first half of the 20th century, through observing equipment, accessories and tools from their daily life. I liked that entrance was free.
