Absolutely stunning parc and gardens. Should not be missed if you're anywhere nearby. Entry is free, parking is free, no dogs allowed. There's a cafe and toilets on-site.
There's a play area for children, lovely water features, lots of exotic plants with some information displayed. Gardens in different styles: English, French, Middle-ages. The part of the castle open to the public, which is an empty two storey internal space, apart from the Blue Room, was being used for an artist's exhibition. There are two ponds with swans and ducks. We managed to see a few rooms of the castle because of an exhibit, but we wish this wonderful castle was all open to visitors.
