Lac de Nino — Attraction in Corte

A true natural paradise. Park your car at the Maison Forestiere in Poppaghia. Follow the signs and the yellow sign on the trees and rocks. It takes about 6-7 hours round trip, depending on your training. The first half of the trail is quite easy, the second half is quite challenging. Tackle the route with suitable shoes and equipment. It is advisable to leave early in the morning so as not to be under the sun during the hottest hours of the day during the summer. Such a gorgeous place to discover.. It was a breathtaking moment when you just walk between the rocks, trees and small flowers on your way and all of a sudden the long long valley with a tiny lake and many wild horses around is opened in front of your eyes... I was deeeeeeply impressed... That was a magnifent viewpoint.. The water in the lake is deadly cold ))) but still worth to try it once you are there! Extremely nice place at the end a beautiful lake and in our case horses, ponies and cow were waiting. Hike is not too bad however the last 1/3 is quite exhausting some physical condition and enough water i would recommended. We saw people walking there in sneeker and converse shoes maybe not the best choice for safety and feet looking at the sharp rocks spikigg nearly the complete hiking way...
