This small lighthouse is a beautiful sight in the very end of the pointe d'Agon. Not only the structure is cute and the surroundings very interesting but the entire area welcomes you with a sense of remoteness.

L’action combinée des marées et des courants n’arrête pas de déplacer le trait de côte, de charrier le sable, d’ensevelir épaves et les fortins. Le port en drapeaux des quelques arbres résistants s’accorde aux paléosols trouvés un peu partout.

Inauguré en 1856,le phare est toujours actif,même s'il est aujourd'hui classifié, comme un feu. Situé ente terre et mer,position peu commune,la communication était difficile,il lui fût adjoint une habitation. Destination privilégiée des randonneurs, (GR 223),il offre des points de vues panoramiques exceptionnels, sur le havre de Regnéville et la pointe...
