We traversed this beach while hiking to Cap Taillat. We did not stop to sun and swim because although the water looked really nice, the sand did not look that great. Lots of natural sea debris and rocks. We opted instead to swim upon returning to E’Scalet where we had parked our car. There were quite a few people there, but not so many as to say it was crowded. There is a sign indicating it is a naturist zone, but almost all were attired in bathing suits. Given that the beach has two sides, most days at least one of them will have fewer waves and be better for swimming. Le parking de L'Escalet est gratuit en hors saison, ce qui est idéal pour profiter pleinement de cette belle balade. La petite randonnée dure environ 50 minutes en prenant son temps, et il est vivement conseillé de la faire hors saison pour apprécier pleinement la tranquillité des lieux.
Tout au long du parcours, on domine la mer avec une vue imprenable sur l’eau turquoise et les magnifiques couleurs des rochers. Deux chemins sont possibles pour cette balade, offrant chacun des perspectives différentes sur ce paysage superbe.
Attention cependant, une partie du sentier traverse une zone de naturisme. Cela n’enlève rien à la beauté du site, qui reste une véritable pépite pour les amateurs de nature et de panoramas exceptionnels.
