This is a great but demanding walk down and up.

We parked in Saint-Cezaires-sur-Siagne and took a well signed pathway. Bearing in mind how elevated the village is from where you start (the top of a high hill) gives you a clue as to how steep a climb it is, as your destination is a river at the bottom of the valley. The walk each way was 1.7km, but the elevation is 300m. The journey down took 30 mins, and back was 45 mins (but this didn’t include lots of stopping times). The path is rocky, but not very hazardous, so we wore trainers/ shoes with grip and were fine. Be prepared to have enough water for there
and back.

The bridge itself and the river is magical with beautiful crystal clear water! The pool underneath where the bridge is, is deep, and then it becomes shallower again either side, but it’s deep enough to...

Vanaf daar begint...

Great, well marked trail. Parking is at the stadium. Don’t follow google maps driving to the Truves. Maps will lead you down a private one way road only for residents. I hike a lot and live in the Rockies so this was an extremely easy hike for me. I even had a baby in a baby carrier and I was wearing running shoes and no supplies except water. There are two ways to go. The shortest way is shadier and a steep grade. The longer way is much easier, longer and incline. It’s...
