This place has excellent displays of information about the vultures which live in or visit the area. An English language brochure was very useful though much information in the exhibition areas was in French. We learnt about the extinction of griffon vultures and the difficulties of reintroducing them. These days the vultures are easy to see above the gorges but from the Belvedere the telescopes give a close-up view of a nest area with a chick waiting for food from its parents. There is an amazing habitat diorama of all 4 species of Vulture with lighting and sound effects. There is a bench where you can sit to take it all in plus question cards to turn over.
