Grotte des Gorges du Verdon — Attraction in Forcalquier

The photos don’t do this place justice. A magnificent gorge with sheer cliffs and aquamarine water. We rented a pedalo and went up the gorge for about half an hour. It was quite busy with other small craft but that didn’t detract from its beauty. Afterwards we lay on the grass and enjoyed a swim in the warm waters. Take a picnic. We ended the day with a drive up the pass above the gorge and looked down on the lake...

Excellent spot for a nice boat tour. Beautiful scenery and a magnificent place to enjoy nature. You miss something when you don't go there. The water was crystal clear but freezing. I recommend coming early because it is a popular spot for tourists. You should bring enough drinking water in the summer.
