SAVE + SHARE this bucket list destination: 📍Valensole, Provence, France 🇫🇷 Not y’all saying you’ve “done” France when you’ve only been to Paris!! There are so many beautiful places to see in France so make sure to add Provence to your itinerary! Every year from around the last week of June to the middle of August, fields in the South of France bloom with brightly-hued lavender. And not only is it mind-blowingly gorgeous, it smells absolutely divine! I’m so glad I got to tick this off my bucket list last year. There are many lavender fields in the region (Provence) including the Pays de Sault, Luberon, Drôme Provençale, and Manosque. However, many people say that the Valensole Plateau (where I’m at in the video) is the absolute best spot and it’s not hard to see why! The fields are completely free to visit, sunset is the best time to go if you’re taking pictures, and don’t worry about crowds— the fields are so vast that it’s easy to find spots where you’re completely by yourself! Loved the small levander ice cream just delicious! Several places to just lay down or seat and watch the beautiful fields. Just be careful from all the bees! But they are harmful if you don't bother them!

One of the best experiences ever. The whole atmosphere here is unreal with the sound of those bees humming in your ears and the fragrance of hectares of lavender fields.

If you want good photos, there are a few with the sun setting in the back of those little huts.

Lavender fields are amazing... No words to describe the beauty of lavender fields... As the sun's rays fell on the fields the lavender fields appeared radiant & more lavender in colour... As the wind swept over the fields, the lavender fields moved in a jerky manner & that gave joy to my mind... I enjoyed it a lot & finally...
