The photos don't do it justice: Our breath was taken away as we walked the path past the bushes and saw it in the distance for the first time. I recommend watching the short video at the guest center (available in French and English) before seeing the rocks to have context about what they are and how incredibly ancient they are. Seeing them up close and being able to walk beneath them is all the more impressive afterwards. There's lots of open grassy fields and benches and tables for having a picnic during your visit, and a charming gift shop with some excellent books for children and adults alike on both historical and...

These rocks are open to to viewed 24/7 There is a car park, and a visitor centre. The Visitor centre was not open, but there was a basic toilette which could be used. In the area there is a picnic area with tables where you could eat. There are also explanations of the alignment of the dolmen with the winter solstice, and some audio explanations in English and French.

Short walk from the car park towards a wood where the rocks can be seen.

A 20 meter long, 2 meter high covered alley near the village of Esse. "Fairies Rock" is probably one of the best preserved dolmen in Europe. The dolmen (covered alley) is made up of 32 upright stones and 9 cap stones, set in a picturesk wooded area. A must see site if you are nearby. The assistants in the help centre are great.

A truly evocative place, you can breathe a special atmosphere. The attention to detail denotes a great passion for history. Surely enthusiasts will be able to fully grasp its historical and cultural value. A visit recommended for those who appreciate the timeless beauty of these places. Congratulations on the conservation!
