Musée de l'insolite — Attraction in Gourdon

This photo nearly cost me my life!

If you stand outside and take a photo then the crazy old man (he calls himself the ‘Chief Bstrd’) will come and shout all sorts of rude things at you. If he really does not like you he will try to hit you with a stick!!

DO NOT PAY TO GO INSIDE or you will miss out on the best experience which is the old man hilariously angry (you can always go back a while later if you want to see the art)

A very memorable experience… one I debated reporting to the police… but then I think the world is funnier with a man like this!

Will never forget the first time we visited this most amazing place! It has to be at the very least 16 years ago. Trundling down the road and seeing the dangling lady. Must have spent easily an hour, and then visited again the following year.. Absolutely incredible! Words can,t properly describe the creativity and vision of this man, but I bow down to his genius, generosity and welcoming spirit!!!...

Je suis partagé sur ce lieu. Le musée en lui même est très sympa : bourré de jeux de mots et de créations rigolotes. Pour ça, j'aurais volontiers mis 5 étoiles. Le mot "insolite" le caractérise bien et il y a plus de choses à voir qu'on ne le penserait de l'extérieur.

Ce qui me chiffonne c'est que le lieu est "tel quel". Pas de sécurité particulière et notre enfant de 3 ans s'est blessé et a failli perdre un oeil en tirant sur une grille non scellée (détour par la pharmacie et tout va bien). Alors certes, c'est écrit que les enfants de moins de 16 ans doivent être accompagnés au delà d'un certain point mais il n'est pas précisé que le lieu est dangereux et inapproprié aux jeunes enfants.

Bref 5 étoiles sans les gosses, 0 avec. Ne les emmenez pas.

Edit : au vu de la réponse odieuse du propriétaire à ce commentaire, je passe de 3 à 1 étoiles. Allez y pour Noël si vous êtes fan du Grinch. Quand même, le propriétaire a admis avoir vu l'accident mais ne s'est pas manifesté. Je pense que ce pauvre garçon est juste un ermite...
