Parc de loisirs la Saule — Attraction in Gourdon

Our family have been coming to this water park for over 13 years and we have always loved it. The place is so big and has plenty of space for everyone even when busy. The food is good and sunbed hire is acceptable at 2.5euros. There are a good amount of water slides and in the childrens swimming pool there are good slides and play areas for them. There is a good inflatable area for adults and older children also. The facilities are clean (toilets and changing rooms) the grass areas are free from rubbish and clean. The only points I am nor so happy with are the cleanliness of the pool. It was always crystal clear and now it seems cloudy and with a greenish hue to it. There was white granules in it which may have been the cleaning agent desolving however I don't feel comfortable swimming in it like this although it may be safe. It just want the cleanest. I love this place and would appreciate you taking this as positive criticism as all my other points are how great the place is but the pool does need attention and alo the foot baths around the outside of the pool. We came forst thing in the morning and were first in so know it should have been clean. The only other point is the play area (high rope type) could do with a few areas fixing.

Just to respond to the owners response 🙄 as professional business owners your response is disgusting. How have you ignored all the positives I wrote and written such an immature response? You really are ridiculous to say never come back we have spent fortunes at your park. Are you the same owners as 5 years ago as if not that explains a lit. They were very nice people. Visited today with my family and wanted to leave as soon as we arrived. The pool water was disgusting, cloudy green, dirty and very uninviting. We stayed for our obviously excited children to play for a while and I chose not to go into the water. Awful to have paid to swim and feeling unable to even go in. After a while I decided to get a drink and went to the snack shack. I was appalled by the awful slow and disorganised service, although two of the staff were rushing about the others stood with out much purpose. We waited 45 minutes in a queue to purchase a bottle of water. 45 minutes!!! When we asked the member of staff standing doing nothing he declined us and told us to wait in the food line. Each food order was being fulfilled at point of order and although I will say the food looked amazing, there really needed to be a line for drinks as this is quick service and a line for food. Waiting 45 minutes just for a bottle of water in 39C was totally unacceptable. We left after only 2 hours and we...

The swimming pool is split into 3 areas, a children's area, a swimming area, and a sliding area. We had small kids and it was perfect. The children's area has some small slides and water toys. Its shallow and warm. The swimming area is large enough to get a workout without bumping into too many people. There are 6 water slides at different levels of difficulty, which are very safe and enjoyable.

Last, there are a few more areas besides swimming. 1st a giant bucket that spills on your heads. 2nd a bouncy area with trampolines and some playground equipment. 3rd is a small food both to buy drinks, ice cream and snacks. 4th is an "adventure area", where you can climb on ropes.

Most of the area is grassy and shaded, with sunning areas around the perimeter of the pool. Its big enough not to be boring, but small enough to keep track of your children and not waste time walking around the premises.
