This is one museum with the Picasso museum: same building, same ticket. While I found the Picasso parts very ugly, the ceramics from Vallauris are higher quality and reflect a diversity of artists. Vallauris was reknown for ceramics for a while and the collection is a decent sample, including some basic pedagogical exhibits to feel different textures. It's a local village museum, not a major museum, but the full price at 6 euros (or reduced to 3) reflects this. Parking is easy as large cheap parkings...

beau musée à visiter après avoir déambulé dans les boutiques de la rue Georges Clémenceau et la vieille ville attenantes. La peinture intérieure par Picasso d'une chapelle "La guerre et la paix" vaut le détour. Ainsi que les poteries de Picasso réalisées pendant la période de sa vie passée à Vallauris. À voir : un excellent petit film documentaire illustrant celle-ci. Nous avons aussi aimé la présentation d'affiches dessinées par Picasso Sont également présentées de magnifiques poteries d'autres artistes et tout un ensemble de peintures d'Alberto Magnelli.
