Désert Jean-Jacques Rousseau — Attraction in Grenoble

The most calming place, we hiked to this spot. So we got down at tram C station, took a bus and reached mid way. Hiked to the spot from there. You can see many small water channels as you hike, good views of the city.

So when we hiked up we walked through the road ( main road where cars and bikes travel ) but when we returned we walked through the hike trail in Google maps and we reached the parking spot. I would suggest everyone to walk through the hike trails, though it's an extra 2.4 Kms to reach the same spot. You won't even realise you walked 2.4 km because it's so silent and calming and scenic.

Also carry more than enough water bottles or snacks (none available here). You have tables where you can sit and eat or relax. No bins so you gotta carry back your trash.

Note : many private properties are on the way so please don't enter them and be mindful...

Es un parque cerrado en medio del bosque Les Vouillants, a unos 4 km de Grenoble (Francia). Tiene dos puertas de entrada, en las dos hay aparcamiento y explanada con mesas de picnic. Entrando por la puerta mas cerca a Grenoble, salen dos caminos, uno a izquierda y otro a derecha, los dos llevan al mismo lado. Es un agradable paseo, paredes de piedra elevadas a los lados y en centro una vaguada con árboles de mas de 30 metros.
