Great experience! Magical atmosphere inside the cave, it was like an adventure expedition... We were discovering new sculptures every second step, there might be 20-30 of them in total. The cave is quite big with corridors like a small labyrinth. Just be ready with a cap and gloves, we were frozen after 15 minutes so we went out of the cave, warmed up at the sun and then returned to do a second tour - and it was worth it, we discovered several sculptures we did not see during the first round. I recommend to go there early to avoid crowds. We were the only ones there...

2nd time we've visited this attraction and 2nd time we failed to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. In 2015, we handled it pretty well; this year not so well. Still alot of snow at the top of Les Deux Alpes and we had to negotiate walking through snow in sandals (me anyway), with two kids and avoiding skiers and snowboarders hurtling down at full speed. I do feel better provisions could be made for people just visiting the caves, we spent a lot of money getting up there on lift passes. On the plus side...

Our visit to La Grotte de Glace was absolutely fantastic, especially for my son who was happy beyond words. The stunning ice formations and the magical atmosphere of the cave were breathtaking. It’s evident that a lot of care and passion goes into maintaining such a wonder. The staff were friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. For any family looking for a unique and memorable adventure, this place is a gem. A solid 5-star experience that we’ll...

Located INSIDE the glacier! Amazing carvings and moves every year. Its on the mountain so you need cash to access it. It was 5 euros in December 2018. Definitely worth a look and kids will love it. Also a good way to educate kids about Glaciers. Its at the top of the Diablo chair and then beyond another 300metres. You can ski there or you could walk from the cable car but it would be on snow
