Parc Paul Mistral — Attraction in Grenoble

A very great park, where you can relax with family and friends and have a picnic. There is a tap in the area where one can get water. Has a high platform where u can get good shoots of the light tower. Beautiful scenery and animal friendly. Close to the chavant tram stop. Also, a number of restaurants in the vicinity where one can go for a quick bite or buy and relax in the park. Visited the park twice , late june and early july. Loved the place.Preferred in the evening because then the sun was down. Also, a good place to have outdoor games/sports such as volleyball,cycling, running etc. Also...

Could be a wonderful park, but it is not loved enough. In rainy days you'll find ponds, the swings (balançoires) (BTW, does anyone know why there are almost no swings in Grenoble? - kids absolutely love them) make a horrible sound and need some grease, some parts of the park are not available, the rustic "fences" might be a nice idea but some pieces have fallen etc. With a bit of interest it could become a quality oasis of fun for kids and...
