Its a bloody long hike up a hill! Not for the faint of heart or disabled. At times too steep to push a wheelchair uphill with even 3 people pushing. The statues look like old Sovjet images of stalin or weird modern goblins. Not art but good intentions and sweat. The workmen make a lot of noise cutting and banging stone with large machines, right next to the rest area and food corner. You cant hear yourself think let alone speak. The noise is loud over the whole area of exhibition and hill, wearing on nerves. It would have been a nice place for a rural piknik, if not for the steep hill, noise and the 10 euros you have to pay for the very small parking lot. Plenty of room for campervans and disabled though. Just not for cars. Apart from the noise, great place to let your Kids run around and get tired for a good nights sleep. About as pleasant as a new york building site. Bretagne has a great deal to offer,...

We live about 5km from the Vallée des Saints so it’s on our doorstep, and we’ve seen it grow from a bare hilltop to a tourist attraction bringing hundreds each day. It’s a unique place to visit in Central Brittany, and a visit will bring you close to the fascinating tumbled giant rocks and wonderful Arthurian walks along the Rivière d’Argent just outside the small lakeside town of Huelgoat. You can park a motorhome in the carpark at the Vallée, and our little campsite is only five minutes away if you want to spend the night in a quiet field surrounded by chickens and sheep. The atmosphere of Central Brittany is magical and mystical and you might just bump into a Druid or a Korrigan in the oak forests which...

Stunning statue park with a lovely gift shop, selling local Coreff beer, and other sundries. Parking may seem a little expensive at €6 [I am informed this has recently gone up to €15], but cheap if you consider the park is free, so money goes towards its maintenance and new sculptures!

I’ve read about stone carving workshops for families, which sounds lovely.

Great to visit, especially on sunny days, but less crowded on rainy days…

The pink granite statues are my favourites. Dogs are welcome if they are on the lead.

Friendly, helpful staff.

The nearby Chapel Saint-Gildas features a traditional beaten earth floor and is dog friendly, with...

Valley of the saints is a real misnomer because it is on and around one of the highest points in the area, over 200 meters. It is an amazing place to visit, incredible value 9 euros per car irrespective of occupancy and stay as long as you like, the craftsmanship of the sculptures blows you away. Be aware, there is a long uphill walk to the site and decents to lower placements, if you are going for lunchtime take a picnic, sadly the refreshment facilities are totally overwhelmed at peak time, the young people work their butts off in very trying conditions but there are just too many people. Thoroughly recommended.

What an amazing place to visit! An absolute must see! Superb sculptures of the saints, set on a wonderful hill side, with incredible views. These stone giants look across the surrounding countryside, each has it own personality and story. It makes you feel you stepped into a magical historical novel. It’s like Stonehenge meets game of thrones, meets Harry Potter, meets an art gallery! And it’s absolutely free and open 24hours!! There’s a lovely visitors centre with cafe, where you can get coffee, cakes or lunch. Sometimes you can can also watch the artists at work creating the next stone giants!

What an amazing place! Giant statues of saints, carved by (mostly) local artists from a variety of local granites, including the famous pink granite. Free entry. Car park 9 euros. Guided tours are apparently available, but we happily wandered around by ourselves. Our teenage children got a bit bored after a couple of hours, but I could have stayed for twice as long, especially as I bought the guidebook, which had information about all the saints. I would have loved the information about the saints to be available next to the sculptures, but I guess it might have caused a few traffic jams.
