Zufällig vorbei gekommen und beim Anblick der Ruine war sofort klar eine kurze Pause einzulegen um sich die Sache näher anzuschauen. Der kleine Parkplatz direkt oberhalb der Gebäude mit Blick auf Bach und Tal wäre auch ohne diese Ruine und Gebäude schon ein schöner Platz für eine Rast. Von dort hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Ruine und auch einen Weg der hinunter führt. Erst wurde spekuliert um was es sich hier wohl handelt....Sakralbau? Gutshof? Da von dieser Position nicht wirklich...

The ruins are fun to look at and you can see the history written on some boards. It's all in French.

It's fine to walk around, despite what some confusing signposts say. The thing is that you are solely responsible if you slip or fall there. So don't fall in the river.

Tldr: it's a cool place but more fun if you know the history already.

We were robbed, our car got broken into and my handbag stolen. We think the guys mightve seen us in the village and followed us/they know it's a popular tourist stop. Do not recommend, the Forge itself was also underwhelming. It's a ruin.
