The place is gorgeous but it is just ruins of the old chateau. They give you a device that explains a lot of things about the site, but everything was very technical. I wished that they could explain more about the people that lived there (slaves, settlers, etc.) and why the chateau existed there. We hiked the Caravelle trail, which is just next to the chateau.
