We visited the Chateau Myrat as part of a tour and were able to do a wine tasting. The buildings were historic and quiet lovely. The co-owner led our tour and was informative and quiet gracious. We found the Sauterne wine produced here was delicious. We also enjoyed learning about the process of production which was interesting and felt this was a great place to visit.

Had a very good tour with Elizabeth around the making of the wine. We did not go around the actual chateau building but saw the presses, the barrels etc. Then there is the tasting! Tried a 2010, 2013 and a 2001. The wine is not cheap but probably a little cheaper than you can buy in the shops. Recommended.

We were with René Gabriel (Bordeaux Pope) from Switzerland on the Château de Myrat for a Sauternes tasting. We tasted 15 different Sauternes wine, even from other friend Châteaux‘s. And we enjoyed a Gabriel brunch with the wines. Thank you and congratulations to the Château owner… 🥰
