Village médiéval de Labeaume — Attraction in Largentière

When visiting the Ardèche and hoping to see some of the amazing and visibly very old villages that still exist here, Labeaume came up on this list in the top ranking. Its a beautiful little village and if you take the effort to walk a little past the central tourist spot (church, icecream parlour and restaurants) you'll find yourself lost in small alleys which resonate their age. Amazingly enough, people do live there, so keeping low profile is wanted, but youll find some nice little shops in between the houses and alleyways. There's a cozy little ice cream shop in one of the arches which sells delicious soft-ice so it pays to go a little further. They'll have you pay for parking for your visit. Heerlijk oud dorpje in de Ardèche! Kleine kronkelende straatjes en een lekker sfeertje. Aan de "achterkant" van het dorp kan je in de rivier pootje baden of met de band van de stroomversnelling af. daarna op het dorpsplein onder de oude hoge linden op 1 van de 2 terrasjes een lekker drankje drinken of ijsje eten. Kortom, voor het hele gezin een uitje.

Lovely old village in the Ardèche! Small winding streets and a nice atmosphere. At the "back" of the village you can bathe in the river or ride off the rapids with the tire. then on the village square under the old high linden trees on 1 of the 2 terraces to drink a nice drink or eat ice cream. In short, an outing for the whole family.

Charmant vieux village d'Ardèche ! Des petites rues sinueuses et une ambiance sympa. A l'arrière du village vous pourrez vous baigner dans la rivière ou descendre les rapides avec le pneu. puis sur la place du village sous les hauts tilleuls centenaires sur 1 des 2 terrasses pour boire un bon verre ou manger une glace. Prachtig dorp met een grote parkerenplek aan de rivier. Beslist de moeite waard. Als je goed ter been bent, mis niet het uitzichtpunt (vanuit het dorp de brug over en met de weg mee, vervolgens 120 m flink omhoog via de rots-trappen). Wat ook heerlijk is, is het zwemwater hier.
