Pleasant place with few kinds of cider, you can try them all. Very good pommeau, you can also try it. It’s a pity that a tour is impossible in English (staff speaks only French), but you can get a tablet and listen to the story of cider. We bought cider and pommeau and also apple juice.

Brilliant little tasting by the owners son. Lovely young man. Very knowledgeable. We left with boxes of ciders and aperitifs and butter! They also have seating and cold drinks you an enjoy in the sun. Lovely friendly place. And clean toilets which is great after a long drive.

We first tasted the „Cidre Doux“ from this cidrerie at the (highly recommended!) restaurant Le Nautique in Yport. It was sweet – but not too sweet – light, refreshing, and dangerously easy to like. We were so taken with it that we just had to make a pilgrimage to the source and grab a whole crate as a „drinkable souvenir“.

Sadly, the weather was far from rolling out the red carpet – otherwise, we’d have loved to explore the farm itself. The apple trees, the geese, the little tower… even under gray skies it all looked like something straight out of a holiday postcard. Still, even without the full countryside experience, the cider alone made the trip 100% worth it.

If contentment could be bottled, this Cidre Doux would be it!

Merci beaucoup...

The visit was very interesting, the owner is a person passioned by his profession. We had a wonderful discussion not only about cider and pommeau production, but about his farm's and the region's history, about new technologies in this domain and economical issues. There is various cattle on the territory including a friendly donkey "Tarte aux pommes" and very cute sheep. There is a big boutique with a great choice of local products and gourmandies. Definitely a...
