Anse d'Arlet — Attraction in Le Marin

This is the most picturesque beach on the island due to its long pier that ends up at the doorsteps of a church. Make sure you come early to get a spot under a nice coconut on the beach. A mon avis la meilleure plage de Martinique, et j'en ai vu des plages sur cette île ! La baignade est très agréable car le sable blanc est fin et doux et l'eau est très cristalline. A environ 3-4 mètres de profondeur, il y a un endroit avec des rochers où l'on peut voir une grande variété de poissons, les plus marquants étant les sergent-majors, les poissons perroquets et les orphies. Parfois, au niveau des rochers sur la droite de la plage, on peut voir des balistes, des murènes ou des pieuvres dans une végétation sous-marine luxuriante. C'est donc l'endroit idéal pour faire du snorkeling ! La plage est grande si bien que, malgré le monde, on ne manque pas de place dans l'eau (en tout cas, le matin).
