Wouldn't recommend to families with young children even if the marketing seems family friendly. We have a 2 year old who is obsessed with Lego and small things so we thought it would be a good family outing. On arrival we were the only guests there and we indicated the ages of both kids and bought tickets to enter. We were advised to not touch or climb on the exhibition and that we could stay as long as we liked. Our 2 year old loved it and was saying "looks mummy cow" and "wow train". Unfortunately when another couple arrived the staff member approached and chastised the toddler for speaking. She told us we had to be silent as there was other guests. As the 2 year old doesn't understand being silent, we were forced to leave after less than 10 minutes inside. We would not have purchased tickets if we were advised that you have to be completely silent throughout as it's impossible to keep an excited toddler silent. We weren't offered a refund and honestly though the miniatures were awesome I would not advise you go if you...
Read moreA really detailed village created in 1/10th scale, so the size is good allowing for lots of details to be easily seen. Night falls every 10mins or so, allowing the village to darken down and lights to go out before a new sunrise wakes the residents - this was quite magical for the children and brought lots of excitement. The train moving through the models is always anticipated and there is a real waterfall and stream near the end. There are several steps around the display for younger kids to stand and view from. Indoor attraction, great for cooler/wetter weather though expect it to busy with everyone else staying dry. Allow an hour upwards to...
Read moreReally well done miniature village. All the models were working well and maintained. Some impressive work going into the models. Down a star as the Lego workshop at the end was temporarily closed for our entire visit which wasn't mentioned at the start, in fact at the start they spoke about it as available at the end. Staff were friendly enough. There was air conditioning so good for a hot day with younger kids. The train was a nice touch for the kids but according to the information it weighs 50kg and is 2.7m but on looking at it that must have changed as it was more like 1- 1.5m long (missing a few...
