Nice aquarium - just a little crowded. We enjoyed visiting this aquarium with our two children, 7 + 3. Cost . 13.80 EUR per adult, Children under 3 free, Children 3-12 9.80 EUR.

The collection of fish was good and the natural lighting into some of the tanks was really nice to see. There were some feeding sessions, announced over the tannoy. On some of the smaller tanks it was a little tedious queuing to move slowly forwards so we just skipped them.

Only having one set of toilets which are situated at the entrance/exit is particularly annoying when your child wants to go to the toilet half way through the tour (toilets at half way point would be an idea!)

There also seemed to be a bouncy castle and a food hut of some description outside the entrance so something else for the kids to do also.

So - no complaints and did the trick of something to do...

We arrived just over an hour before they closed for lunch. We asked whether it was worth buying a ticket and was told that the aquarium experience would only take an hour. We decided to go ahead, but clearly - given everything there is to see and do there, an hour was very insufficient. At 14 euros per person it is also quite expensive for an hour anyway. After an hour we were asked to leave and we enquiried whether our tickets could be used after lunch. They were really unhelpful and wouldn't even consider it. I pointed out that we were told an hour would be sufficient time to see everything and clearly this is not the case. This did not change their decision. The place is great, but overly expensive, the staff are not very helpful and make sure that you leave at least 1.5 hours for the visit if you want to get your...

Great "small" aquarium, I say small because some are much bigger, but this one has absolutely perfect settings in the tanks and the touch screen allows to get the information on the fish and crustaceans on display so easily and very clearly. There tanks for different parts of the world making you travel through the oceans of our planet. Also there are some videos explaining how they breed the sea species to help conservation worldwide. Altogether very interesting. Prices are reasonable enough. The café offers great range of snacks, paninis and burgers without plundering your wallet too much (mind you...
