Let me start by saying marvellous tour and highly recommended.

Location: 9/10 the winery/winyard can be easily located on map and easy to drive to if you are by car.

Staff: 10/10-very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have keen eye for details, walk you through each and every step of wine making along with history in amazing detail.

Experience: 10/10, it’s a curated experience and you’ll come out learning something new despite you think “i know alot about wine”. There is remarkable difference between visiting an actual vineyard vs visiting something commercial which is just sake of experience. Here, you visit and feel every step of the process, they walk you though every step, from impact of soil, pesticides, climate on the grapes to how all this actually translates to the taste of wine you drink so casually. It’s a very fine combination of art and science..no wonder French people are so attached to it.

They have two state of art process (traditional with all the barrel fermentation & modern with machines) and you can visit both.

The dégustations(wine tasting) is a very fine experience here, you get to taste their flagship grand cru wines to the newly crafted (and none less than the authentic Provence ones) JM Rose.

At the end of tour, you have a shop where you can buy their wines and souvenirs. I ended up buying lot of their Rose (which is a shame because they have finer products in red wine like grand cru and grand cru classic)but « heart wants what it wants »

I loved their collection and highly recommend it to all those who want to have an authentic wine tasting experience and learn a thing or two about how your favourite...

Visited in mid-March and had the winery almost to ourselves other than one tour group of about 8 people. It was a gorgeous day, the sun had finally come out after days of rain and overcast. The winery was so peaceful. Views were gorgeous.

We booked the tour and tasting and got a tour of both Chateau Croizille and Tour Baladoz, the former is more modern in both architecture and winemaking, the latter is more traditional in both. Our guide, Thomas, was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the winery and appreciate Thomas's knowledge and time in answering all our questions. We tasted 3 wines and ended up buying one of them to enjoy during the rest of our Bordeaux trip. The chateau usually has lunch and wine bar on their patio but since we came during off-season travel, everything was closed. Would love to experience the winery during spring/summer/fall....

. Château La Croizelle (Lalande-de-Pomerol, Right Bank Bordeaux) Owner: Vignobles K (also owns Château de Sales in Pomerol)

Wine Tour Experience Right Bank Focus: Merlot-dominated blends with round, plush textures. Hands-On Approach: Tours often include vineyard walks to discuss terroir (clay-limestone soils). Barrel Room & Tasting: See small-lot vinification and taste wines with ripe red fruit and silky tannins. Modern Meets Traditional: Combines sustainable practices with classic techniques.

Wines to Try: Château La Croizelle – Juicy Merlot with touches of Cabernet Franc, aged in oak. Le Plus de La Croizelle (Premium cuvée) – Richer, more concentrated.

Why Visit? A charming, lesser-known estate with a friendly vibe and excellent Right Bank value.

Offers boutique...

4 of us attended here having seen reviews and subsequently booked it online. We walked there from St Émilion in 35 mins. Walk was lovely annd worthwhile. Nice circular walk if you use Google maps. 12 people in total on the tour. Everything was fine and the tour lasted about an hour. Got to see two wineries, new and old which is what sets this place about above many of the others. Plus, It would be great to see it just after harvest time. Wine tasting there was lively, three to taste, one Rosé and two reds, one from each vineyard. Only downside was work was going on in the background in one of the rooms made it difficult to hear but I suspect we were unlucky on the day. Tour guide Paul was very knowledgeable and answered questions well and spoke great English. (Clearly we selected an English tour in advance)

A modern chateau with fantastic views. We visited this place as part of the tour that we purchased at the tourism office in Bordeaux and paid Eur40 per person for the 5h excursion that also included 1.5h visit to Saint Emilion village. They grow both red (merlot and cabernet) and white grape varieties (sauvignon) and are Silver winners in 2023 of The Grand International Wine award. The guide provided a very friendly and informative tour explaining the wine makin process. The tour also included the degustation of two local wines. The degustation area has very beautiful views with floor to ceiling windows and a big balcony overlooking the area.
