Wow wow wow. Where do I start with our exceptional experience with Amanda and David at The Naked Vigneron? The welcome meal for our destination wedding was hosted at The Naked Vigneron. Coming up the love drive and seeing the restored barn sets the tone for the evening perfectly; upon walking in to the softly-lit space, we were welcomed with glasses of wine and some delicious aperitifs as we saw the beautifully decorated tables arranged for our group of 85. Amanda and David's hospitality is infections - they led the charge with their wonderful staff to serve drinks, speak with guests, and ensure a seamless evening. Our dinner was phenomenal. Perfectly portioned family-style food full of flavor. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious dinner stating that it was some of the very best food during their trip to France - let alone great for a wedding or a welcome meal. You will not find more gracious hosts who are easier to work with. I highly recommend The Naked Vigneron for any level of experience - from a simple wine tasting to an elaborate event.

Booked a 5-course lunch and wine tasting for the 4 of us with 2 days notice. I've been on wine tastings before and was expecting some nibbles and sips of wine in a group setting, how wrong was I. The 4 of us were greeted by Amanda and David at their lovely property, seated in the garden and provided the most delicious 5 course meal and 4 full bottles of wine - the slow cooked pork was awesome (need to try to recreate this at home!). Wines were lovely, and a good mix with a fizzy, white, rose and red provided, all organically produced from start to finish. Fantastic value for money IMO, and much more personable, informative and filling(!) than something provided by the larger wine producers.

This wine tasting experience is something quite different! Beautifully situated on the edge of the Bordeaux region, we were taken around this lovely ‘small’ vineyard by David. While educating us in an authentic way on grapes, vineyard maintenance and wine production he shared the family adventures and up and downs in a very enthusiastic way. The tasting itself was relaxed and we enjoyed the wines very much as also the company of the small group of other visitors. We will look back on a memorabele afternoon when we drink the excellent wines back home.

4 of us visited the NV after giving 48 hours notice by email. David was a patient, knowledgeable and attentive host. We walked the estate, looking at the vines. We saw the next step in the NV's evolution - a dilapidated barn which will be transformed in time to host weddings from next year (2018). We saw the equipment that processes and stores the wine. Then finally, we tasted the product itself. Exquisite! A beautiful setting. An amazing and inspirational couple. We wished we had stayed for food. We also wish we had more room in the car to take more wine home. Thank you NV for a memorable and enjoyable afternoon. Our fingers are crossed for...
