Kiki Plage — Attraction in Lifou

This is easily the best beach I've ever been to in the world, and I'm Australian and used to live in the south of france so I've seen a LOT of beaches. The half hour walk is definitely worth it. Park in the football field opposite the pharmacy, drop 500xpf in the box outside Jean Paul's house the follow the ribbons tied around the trees all the way to the cliffs. Wear good shoes! I was on a cruise ship and I believe this is the best, closest place to see. A real gem. The only way to access the beach is to walk approx. 1.5 km through the forest. You have to turn right after football field in Xepenehe (follow "Chez jean paul pour aller a kiki beach" on the map) and than the very tight path will lead you to the beach.
