Absolutely lovely course and very easy to immerse yourself in the experience from viewing the horses led round before the race, where jockeys then mount; you quickly head up to the stand and they're off! The race card was excellent showing the runners for the day and we also got a little leaflet which explained how to bet, but you do need a bit of French to place one as none of the tellers spoke English. It's very accessible, friendly staff and with a race every half an hour or so, there's enough to keep you entertained.

The only thing I would caution about is the prerace guided tour. It's only in french so you really have to speak well to follow, and it is pretty in depth, so like if you really care about Thier weigh in process and anti doping testing procedures, great tour, but that was a little too much for a six year old...
