Confusing staff who can't be bothered including non-french tourists in their tours as its all in french. Ticket booth staff confused the hell out of us with the entry time, resulting us to wait 1.5h! Guide does a final call to gather the group in french, meaning if you didn't understand you'll be left behind. Our guide turned out to be able to explain something we missed in perfect english! But it only happened AFTER the tour when I asked him about something. We were given a pdf to explain the history of the cave, but it didn't contain the details they point out.

I understand if someone in a village doesn't speak english... but at a tourist spot in a westen country... where you have to repeat your story about a...

The caves are very nice. Don't forget to bring a sweater or something warm for it is considerable colder in the caves.

Parking wise is my suggestion to do it near the restaurant. This leaves you still with a considerable steep walk, but the parking space near the entrance of the caves is a bit cramped; great spot to practise your parking skills.

The five rooms are impressive. Walking inside is mostly easy, but there are a few stairs inside and you've to bend a couple of times a bit.

Though the use of coloured lamps give an interesting atmosphere, with night shot photos it...

Very beautiful caves, with stunning views on the inside. Well worth the price of atmittance. The tour takes about an hour, and it is nice and cool on the inside. Some might want to bring a sweater.

They have some information in multiple languages, but that is very minimal compared to the actual tour, which is in French. Maybe it is time for a rewrite?

Also would have loved to have a little bit more time on the way back, because the views a quite stunning on the way back, but there is very...

The caves of Baume-les-Messieurs are a breathtaking natural wonder! The guided tour takes you deep into a world of impressive rock formations, underground rivers, and vast chambers beautifully lit to highlight the geology. The temperature inside is cool, so bring a jacket. The tour is informative and suitable for all ages, making it a great activity for families. The sound of the water echoing through the cave adds to the magic. A must-see when visiting the Jura region — unforgettable and unique.

Touristic, yes, but well organised and very nice to see. Also, it’s availability is for everyone (small kids, elderly). Thanks to the nice people working there, although I also think they were very nice since I tipped well. Go in time in the morning, afternoon it get’s busy.
