If I could give this place a few more stars, I would!! The Breton games and authentic, beautiful, well-maintained surroundings would have been enough to sell me on this place, but even every house is outfitted with beautiful and timely furniture and objects. The staff are friendly and informative and the presentations are very well done, just long enough to give good information, but not so long as to completely lose my youngest child's attention (age 4 at the time of this post). If there were a few more opportunities for hands-on participation during the demonstrations for the kids and maybe a vegetarian option at the only restaurant on-site, this place would hands-down be my PERFECT family day out. As it is, you can bring a picnic, so it was still great! Also be warned that absolutely everything - demonstrations, explicative panels, menus, everything - are in...

Village is really nice, a bit small but it is nice for afternoon visit with kids. Lunch was total disaster. It cost 20 euros and it was the worst deal in history of deals maybe ever. Soup was plain and it missed taste. Second meal was sausage with potatoes (witch werent mashed at all), absolutely without salt. Dessert put a crown on this misserable lunch (it was bad too). I can't understand how in France, country of best food, you can bump into so bad chef who miss any idea about cooking at all. I understand it should be historical food, but that was total disaster. Conclusion: Visit that village, but avoid...

Visiting this village that lives in a traditional manner was very interesting. There are really interesting presentations on how people lived centuries ago. The landscapes and scenery is idyllic. It was a nice reminder to me how lucky we are to live with modern comforts. And to understand how we got to where we are today. The village is very nice. Some of the sessions are overcrowded so you probably want to go early. Also, tall people should watch their heads when passing under the short doorways! My companion got taken by surprise. Luckily there was no blood but a lot of pain! Great place for kids...
