This is not one observation point but the road that leads through the park and ends at La Ciotat. Gather some picnic supplies and water and take your time working your way through. You can start in Cassis or La Ciotat. Amazing views the entire way. Best to bring some good walking shoes since some of the terrain is a little unstable. Amazing place to watch the sunset, but obviously it gets dark and the road is narrow and winding but easily navigable if you take your time. It is can’t miss in the Cassis area.

Gorgeous, top of the world, 90 degree drop. On the right you'll see Cassis and on the left the deep blue endless sea. Initially my knees were knocking so much i could barely walk. But as the scenery filled my mind, and i felt solid ground, i moved closer and closer to the edge. Exhilarating. There is a quite a path you can walk up and down, just near the edge of this precipice. We even saw some mountain climbers, going straight down the rock face. Kudos!

It's the highest cliff in France and one of the highest in Europe. Breathtaking panorama view and a spark of adrenaline, that you have to see and feel for yourself. The place is also a popular point on the map for wedding photos. If you will be here on Saturday in summer, probably like we, you will meet someone during this special day ;) Cliff is located near the main road with big free parking so no worries with your car.

Falaises de Cassis was a highlight of our European summer road trip. If you’re looking for a route that will leave you speechless, follow the ‘Route des CrĂȘtes’ between Cassis and La Ciotat. These winding mountain roads offer breathtaking views of the CĂŽte d’Azur that are simply incredible.

There are plenty of spots to stop along the way, but this one takes the cake. And by cake, I mean views—because that’s all there is here. But honestly, what more do you need? It’s like Mother Nature decided to show off her best work just for you.

So, if you’re in the area, don’t miss this stunning route. Just remember to bring your camera and maybe a thesaurus, because you’ll run out of words to...
