Belvédère du Mont des Avaloirs — Attraction in Mayenne

A fascinating and very unusual structure — definitely worth a visit! We went early in the morning on a beautiful clear day, and the peaceful atmosphere gave us time to pause and reflect.

La plus belle vue se trouve en haut, de là on ne voit pas la tour ! Forêt peu accessible magnifique et à son sommet, une proposition architecturale que je m'abstiendrai de qualifier. On reste quand même dans une infrastructure très standard des années 1990 qui me rappelle les tours d'observations des pompiers du Loiret. Mais soit, le problème c'est que ça n'a rien avoir avec le paysage local ni même immédiat. Juste un objet posé là comme il pourrait l'être à la gare de Nanterre... Et pour souligner la lourdeur et le cynisme, l'aménagement qui mène à l'édifice (qui n'est même pas vieux) et dont se targue la Com Com sur son budget investi, écarte soigneusement la forêt pour faire une pseudo perspective pompeuse avec des choix discutable de mobilier et de végétaux. Le parking pourrait quand même se trouver à 15min à pieds de la tour histoire de profiter un peu de l'arrivée (de toute façon le point de vue n'est pas PMR). Bref très décevant pour "le point culminant de l'ouest". Heureusement qu'il y a des informations intéressantes sur le paysage en haut de la tour. Le PNR devrait davantage intervenir. P.S : je...
