Plage de Miomo — Attraction in Metropolitan France

This is a lovely little beach. Worth the 10min Taxi out of town to have a wider beach to swim in. The Water and beach were borh clean. If you have soft american feet like us, you may want to have water shoes, although pebbles are small and flat mostly. There is a quaint restaurant on the beach, Torre Mare. They sold food until 2pm and then continued to sell beverages and ice cream. Soft drinks, beers and wine. They have chairs to rent for 10 Euro a day, but only about 8 of them and 4 umbrellas, so come early or bring your own. We had higher hopes for the inflatables and water craft mentioned online, but only the raft, kayaks and surfboard were available (for free!) the inflatables and jet ski we read about may be for the high season? Strand nördlich von Bastia, große Kiesel, kaum Sand, schöne Brandung. Man kann Liegen mieten. Stellenweise viel Seegras im Wasser, Strand nicht sehr sauber. Hinter der Mauer findet man Schatten am Strand. Hunde eigentlich verboten, es gab trotzdem welche, niemanden hat es gestört. Es war recht leer. Im Wasser sind Schwimminsel und Hüpfburg eine schöne Abwechslung. Aber dafür muss man schon ganz gut schwimmen können, ist ein Stück bis dahin.
