Château Viella — Attraction in Mirande

A lovely location with delicious wine. We were greeted on arrival by a lady who we think was Claire, one of two sisters who now run the vineyard and are fourth generation farmers there. She also had the vineyard dog with her who was very welcoming.

She was really informative and spoke great English. We had fun finding equivalent words when our questions got technical!

We took a tour of the vines, learned about the grapes then the wine making process. We then followed up where we were able to sample the range of very tasty wine.

Received the 'atelier d'assemblage' as a gift and thoroughly enjoyed it. Clare was friendly, helpful, encouraging and speaks great English too if you don't feel that your French is up to it. Will probably go back with friends and family, and would highly recommend it for a first dive into the wine tasting/blending world. Don't just drink it, appreciate...

Nous avons récemment eu le plaisir de participer à une dégustation de vin au vignoble du Chateau Viella, et l'expérience a été tout simplement exceptionnelle. L'association vin-repas était particulièrement réussie, chaque plat étant parfaitement harmonisé avec les différents cépages proposés, blanc moelleux, blanc sec, rouge sans sulfites ajouté, rouge et rouge liquoreux.

Claire est extrêmement passionnée, apportant des explications détaillées sur chaque vin et répondant à toutes nos questions avec enthousiasme. Le cadre du vignoble était pittoresque et accueillant, offrant une vue magnifique sur les vignes environnantes et les Pyrénées. Je recommande vivement cette dégustation à tous les amateurs de vin, que vous soyez novices ou connaisseurs. Une expérience inoubliable qui vaut...
