Ideally situated just 12 minutes walk or 5 mins drive from the Brittany ferries port. It only costs €6 and though only established now for 20 years, it boasts large palms, eucalyptus and tree ferns. It's cactus house is very interesting and the comfortable winding gravelled paths lead you to a wide variety of shrubs, flowers and plants. The highlight and focal point of the garden is a stone staircase up a large viewing point that looks out to Brittany Ferries and gives one a stunning surround view of Roscoff and its spectacular coastline. My only slight criticism would be the small information placards dotted around the garden, these were mostly on the botanists and explorers who contributed to the collection of exotic plants all over the world . Some of these were printed in French and English, but the English translations were quite difficult to understand, perhaps I should I say.... lost in translation ?. 😉....... it was nevertheless an enjoyable experience. The succulent, cactus and tree fern displays were my favourites, the comfortable benches allowed a momentary rest and contemplation of this well laid out garden. Well...

The route was easy to follow and there were lots of benches along the path. Wheelchair friendly routes were also clearly signposted, and the plant life was amazing. We had a familly visit and were wandering for 2 hours to discover a really well designed garden with plenty of plants from many part of the world. This is a wonderful day out with Amazing views over the ocean and the harbour of Roscoff. We had a fabulous afternoon. The cherry on the cake is that the entry fee is for an association that is working hard to maintain this little wonder...
