Musée et jardins de Souvigny — Attraction in Moulins

A nice place to find serenity among the plants. Note it is a basic garden with a wild touch, certainly not a botanic garden. There are weeds among the flowers, but if you are a garden lover, a walk in this lovely garden will give your eyes pleasure for an hour. The "museum" is basic, but interesting, 15 minutes max and you've seen & read everything. I really enjoyed my visit, so much so that I went there last year & this year too. Le site est admirable dans son ensemble. Je vous recommande la colonne du Zodiaque qui une sculpture romane unique en son genre. Les jardins de l'abbaye sont à voir et même il faut y demeurer pour lire ou méditer au calme. La visite de l'église abbatiale est incontournable et admirable ... toutefois, la visite guidée est un peu décevante en ce début juillet (ce qui coûte la cinquième étoile) : Notre guide était très gentille et souriante mais inexpérimentée sa culture historique générale semble limitée.
