We had a bad experience with the booked excursion (4*4 tour). Upon arrival they informed us that they had had a problem with the reservation (they couldn't find us) and they weren't expecting us, so there was no space in the cars. Curiously, they had our name and payment. In exchange they offered us a bike tour. For the same price as according to them published on the web. Since we couldn't change our vacation plans, we were a little forced to accept the change. But after taking the excursion, in another language than the one reserved (enjoying it much less) we verified on their own website and in different pamphlets that they had deceived us. The bike tour was cheaper. So we had to wait for them to reopen to go and complain. When we arrived and explained that we were disappointed and believed it was a fraud, the person who attended us simply told us, this morning I couldn't pay you the difference, now I can. He opened the cash register and gave us a bill for the difference. We don't know how many more people they have entangled with this type of practices but let's hope that no one falls victim again. Read moreYesterday we had a fantastic tour with our three kids through the Camargue in a nostalgic Landrover Defender. Our tour guide. After a nice stop in between with wine tasting and salami from the local winery we visited passed local bull farm.
As the Defender has a soft top we could stay inside the car, which was good for the kids, to look from the top to horses, flamingos and bulls.
The kids comment after three hour drive and viewing was “ is it over already. That was quick.”
We can recommend to do it as you go inside the Camargue nature. If it is a sunny day, don’t forget sun head and sun cream.
Regards to our tour guide Lea, she did a great job and we felt always safe.

Read moreHad a really good cycle tour this morning! Highly recommend the tour guide ( I've forgotten her name sorry!) was very informative and passionate explaining the Camargue area and wildlife. The bikes were fun to ride and the wine tasting and local snacks were also enjoyable. The tour is explained in both French and English, however I wish there was just an English language tour as some of the information got missed out in English and I realise it must be difficult for one person to translate exact information between two languages. After the tour we visited a resturant which was recommended in Aigues- Mortes had a walk around the town inside and then visited the salt mine. Perfect day out and will be back to...
