This was a fascinating place to visit to understand the cultivation and distilling of organic aromatic plants for their essential oils. We were a little late in the year to see the lavender in bloom, but the tour provided ample insight into how lavender (and other plants) are turned into high quality organic essential oils. There is signage in French and English that also provides explanation. We also learned the differences - and aromatherapy benefits - of the three main varieties of lavender. We were fortunate to participate in a cosmetic workshop, where we each created our own face/hand cream with lavender essential oil. The end product was beautiful, leaving the skin lightly fragranced, nourished and soft. There is a terrific shop with a wide range of different products featuring various essential oils. Our guide Silvain was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout our visit, and provided expert advice about the best essential oils to achieve different therapeutic benefits (extra points for his recommendation to use helichrysum for a black eye - overnight improvement!). Kudos to this company for their commitment to organic farming practices and...

A brilliant lavender farm to visit if you love lavender and everything to do with it. This is a family owned farm in its 4th generation, they use organic techniques to grow lavender and other plants. They have a multi lingual guided tour of how the plants are grown, the techniques they use, the distillation proces of how they extract the various essential oils.

I personally found it quite informative and educational. The guides on the farm are super helpful. You can also book on some make your own perfume, create your own essential oils etc and that's super fun.

One thing I will suggest is that to visit the place in June when you can see the full blue of the lavender blooms!!

It's a great place to visit in...

What an excellent and very pleasant experience. Laura was just the very best guide you could ever expect and despite her young age her knowledge was highly impressive. Apart from visiting the lavender fields and seeing and smelling different varieties we also saw the full methodology and processing machinery to extract the oils. The final 5 minute video (stopped several times for extremely helpful interjections - and me interrupting!!) summarized the visit perfectly. My wife was very happy with the attached shop and we left with...

This is a 5th generation run farm. We really enjoyed the tour. The process of distillery of essential oils was explained. We were able to see the actual "mobile" still, which is used at their farm and moved around to other farms to distill their herbs. It was very educational. There is a nice store to buy the essential oils, some food items like honey and cookies, soap and lavender buds. I would recommend it to anyone interested .

Excellent informative reception and tour of this lavender farm. Our guide was gracious and the fields were stunning. I gained a whole new appreciation for the dedication and labour involved in both respecting the earth and producing an amazing product. I highly recommend the tour and the amazing products! It was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in France.
