Very knowledgeable and friendly docent provided a detailed guided visit of the site. Strongly recommend adding the guided visit to your entry ticket. There was quite a heavy focus on the necropole, which meant however, that the group simply walked past the experimental archeology of habitation structures.
The museum exhibits make a distinct effort to be visually appealing and informative with some interesting interactive elements (such as the interior of a Neolithic "home" and a replica of a Celtic stone passage construction with carves spiral decorations) although the collections are still presented as grids of small napped tools with little contextualization and the typeface throughout is quite small to read comfortably in the dimmer light--content provides a good overview of prehistoric material culture and there are several very informative and useful maps and illustrations.

A fascinating place to visit, needs to be much better known. Within the area there is a collection of ancient mounds of different periods from long ago. They are different types, and built for various reasons. The cafe is OK, with a variety of drinks and eats - and decent toilets! You first enter tye site by going down to the entrance doors of the on-site large museum. There is actually a distinct lack of notices telling you this. We almost walked away because it looked like thd museum was closed. Thankfully it wasn't. You can get translation of many of the displays, much needed.
