Parc de Vilgénis — Attraction in Palaiseau

Bon parc dans l’ensemble, sympa de s’y promener. Cela nous évade un peu de la ville. Les visites nocturnes sont magnifiques. Néanmoins, il y a pas mal de points négatifs au parc...

1. Les chemins sont quasiment tous en impasse. (Pour l’instant il reste pas mal de travaux).
2. Les panneaux d’informations sont dégradés (ils ont mal été fixé et ont été vandalisés pour certains... alors qu’ils sont neufs...).
3. Nombreux travaux en cours qui gâchent la visite (après faut bien les faire).
4. L’étang en bout du parc n’est pas sécurisé... et pas très visible quand le soleil tombe, vous pouvez donc imaginer ce qu’il peut se produire. (Espérons que les travaux résoudront cela).
5. Des entrées sont manquantes, difficile de s’y rendre sans faire des détours.

Et pour moi le plus gros point négatif :

La grille de l’ancienne entrée du château est très dégradée. C’est pourtant un patrimoine historique comme dit sur certains panneaux... Elle n’est pas mise en valeur... C’est dommage, elle pourrait être restaurée et déplacée à la nouvelle entrée principale...

Be careful if you are not a local ! The Google map hasn't been updated for years and now the park is devided including military campus which the borders are not shown on the map. So, never transpass the fence as you will be charged. Also, the trails are not any more as on the Google map for now. Other than that a beautiful park...
