La source Bleue — Attraction in Pontarlier

Lovely spot where we parked up for the evening. This underwater cave with its incredibly clear, cold and blue water is a short walk from the carpark. It's a nice stroll along the stream through the woods to the cave which takes all of about 5 minutes to reach. The pool is small but it's stunning if you catch it as the sun is setting over it as you can see from my unfiltered pictures. There is a metal grab rail in the cliff by the cave entrance so you can look into the deep blue water. I got in for a dip but its ice cold water being fed by the alps so didnt stay in long at all. I wouldn't drive a long way just to see this as its small and if you don't swim it'll be a 10min experience at most, but if you're passing close by its well...

Pleasant walk - blue water a bit underwhelming (if you want real blue water source, go to Blaubeuren in German - although it is quite a long way away!). Certainly worth the walk if you're in the area but I wouldn't travel a long way...
