A Day at Kingoland: Thrills for the Whole Family
Kingoland stands out as a delightful amusement park, particularly for families with young children. Offering a mix of gentle rides and exciting attractions, it ensures a fun-filled day for all ages.
Rides Tailored for Toddlers Kingoland excels in providing rides that cater specifically to toddlers. Our three-year-old was captivated by the family rollercoaster, a caterpillar-themed ride that is gentle yet exciting enough to keep young ones thrilled. Another highlight was the log flume. Though it had its moments of excitement, it was not too frightening for our little adventurer.
Interactive Attractions The pirate house and water walk offered a unique blend of fun and adventure. This interactive attraction kept us engaged for quite some time, with plenty of surprises and playful elements along the way. Additionally, the octopus splash ride provided endless entertainment. A particular highlight was our playful water battle with a group of teenagers, who we ended up soaking—only to find ourselves relentlessly sprayed in return. It was all in good fun, adding to the joyous atmosphere of the day.
Dining Options When it came to dining, Kingoland offered a variety of options. While our son was a bit picky, finding solace mainly in fries, the adult fare was quite satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the burritos and fries with nacho cheese, which provided a tasty and satisfying meal amidst the park’s activities.
Overall Experience Kingoland delivers an exceptional day out, especially for families with young children. The rides are thoughtfully designed to cater to toddlers, ensuring they feel the thrill without the fear. The interactive attractions and water rides add layers of fun and engagement, making it a well-rounded experience. While the food options could be expanded to cater more to young children, the quality and variety available for adults are commendable.
In summary, Kingoland is a fantastic destination for family fun, blending gentle thrills with interactive adventures. Its toddler-friendly rides and playful attractions make it a must-visit for families seeking a memorable...
Read moreSpent a lovely day here for my eldest son's 6th birthday. Reasonably priced for 2 adults and a child under 12 coming in at €49. Our baby was free at age 1 and under 1 metre tall.
The park wasn't very busy at any point during the day, so we could go on every ride at least twice, something you wouldn't get in the UK! All the rides were decent, though no white knuckle thrills here so teenagers may find it a bit dull.
Snacks and drinks were reasonably priced for a theme park, and with free parking it was a good value day out. The VR ride is currently €4 extra, but given that I saw very few people go on it I expect that'll change next year. It is with noting that children under 1 metre will not have many rides to go on, we were OK with our cruiser, but a proper toddler may get bored.
The theme park was very neat and tidy throughout, the staff were all very friendly, and even allowed me to continue my rubbish attempts at French all day.
We had a lovely day and would recommend a trip to Kingoland to anyone who asks for a day or in...
Read moreWe had an absolutely fantastic day out here. Very clean, with friendly staff. A small enough site to be able to walk around easily yet plenty of rides to fill a whole day. Our children are 10 and 12 and they both agreed it was the best day of their holiday. Good old fashioned fun with rides like bumper cars, log flume and the pirate ship (big shout out to the male operator who was encouraging screaming competitions - he made that ride his own!l). There were also rides for younger children and bigger roller coasters which older kids were loving. Even though we visited in August it didn't feel too busy and by the end of the day we went on the popular Apollo Sream Rocket 4 times without queueing. We took a picnic but also enjoyed some waffles whilst we were there. Food prices were very reasonable and we didn't feel like we were being ripped off at every opportunity like at some themes parks. Would...
