Groups leave every 15 minutes. We arrived in the afternoon so it was rather crowded. But the temperature is really cool inside the cave (14°C) which is really nice considering there was a heatwave the day we came !
Inside the cave is really interesting and very beautiful to see, the guide told us about the history of the cave, how the water stores are made, and what the ground is made from. I would definitely recommand going there ! They even installed lights in a way to make shows thanks to the light, the one with the water is very soothing !
We were glad to be able to bring the dog with us inside the cave, even if his paws were dirty afterwards haha !
The reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the visit was entirely in french whereas there were dutch people as well in our group who couldn't understand what the guide was saying,...
Read moreWho is this cave for? For families with children who have never seen such places in their lives. Adults from the city who have no contact with nature will also feel good here. Someone who has had to do with travel in his life and is a traveler with a backpack and mountain boots will not find anything interesting here. Be warned though, it is your based so don't do as we did and just turn up, check to see what times the English (German, etc) tours are as there are not many, and then get there early enough to guarantee a spot on that your as they limit the numbers to approx 30.
