Both my son and I were totally enchanted with this garden. Monet's paled in comparison. Right from the rambling planting on the house, to the great trees and streams with the footpaths down the middle made of great slabs of stone to the chickens, tiny chicks and rabbit running about. Beside the Agapanthes there is a marvellous display of Hydrangeas and many more shrubs growing freely or clipped to shape. At the end coffee is served by the manager, but he made an exception for us because we were English and brought us a huge pot of tea, then sat and chatted to us.
