Manoir de l'Aumônerie — Attraction in Rouen

This is a truly unique place! a historic estate with lots of character and charm. The grounds are large and beautifully maintained, with signs throughout sharing bits of its history. There's even a paper map at the entrance to help you explore. We stayed in a cozy little house that used to be the old kitchen. It was beautifully decorated, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. We had a wonderful time staying at Manoir de l'Aumônerie! It has a beautiful, peaceful surrounding, great service and extremely kind hosts. Staying at l'Aumônerie is a comfortable step into a rich history, and not a typical hotel or lodge experience. When staying here one does need to realise there will be occasional tours and events around the house, which could feel like a temporal breach into privacy, but it is a part of the experience! All in all, we would love to come back sometime, if only to see the progress...

This is a very nice place in a calm neighbourhood close to the city of Rouen. The appartement has everything that’s needed to enjoy your stay. Next to that there is a beautiful garden where you can rest and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. (There is even a possibility to barbecue) The owners are very nice and help you out if something is needed, they also know nice places to visit in Normandie.
