Gouverneur, Saint Barthélemy — Attraction in Saint Barthélemy

Beautiful beach, but not a great place to anchor. We did so in sand, but the waves make it an unsettled anchorage. Swam to the beach, which has wonderful soft sand. Snorkeled a bit on the east side but there wasn’t much coral or sea life and the waves were moderate. Good place to relax, take in the sun, and swim and play in the waves. Beautiful natural setting. Amazing Island!!! A small but a very nice island! All European standards, quite different from Asian islands, very clean and up to standards. I like it being small, cant find any people camping, all here are well mannered. Like I said it’s all up to European standards! Lots of small shops and restaurants as well as nice and clean beaches. It’s not as easy to get here usually 2-3 stops from main destinations, but still...
